Aloa.

I was wondering how you are progressing with your language. Is it finalized yet? What is available appears very exciting & I can't wait for it to be finalized so that I may learn it more closely.

Thank you very much for time.

Aloa.

Congratulations on your recent progress with Ayola. May I presume that, with the release of the April 2009 summary, that the rest of the learning materials will be finalized to match the new summary?

Thank you for your time & I look forward to any more material you may release on this language.

Thanks for noticing the error! We'll correct it as soon as we upload the next set of changes.

We're a little short-handed at the moment. so only a few hours of work is going into the language each week right now. One of us is working on the Linnean terminology, one is editing the grammar and I'm working on revisions to the vocabulary. We've made a number of changes that haven't been posted yet.

Aloa. Dusa observations.

Unon - When is the final version of this language going to be released?

Duson - I noticed that in Lecinon Treson, there appears to be a mistake. Review & Practice #2g is "Mans' Face," however, the answer is listed as "komputeray desko" (computer desk).

Thank you for taking the time to construct & maintain this language.

Ayola is such an interesting language. It seems a little complex because it tries to do away with ambiguity therefore creating words to be accurate but I'm interested in this language. I hope the dictionary or grammar is released soon.

Ayola should be simple without irregularities.

All of the following words add "y" to denote a plural:

myo - myoy
dya - dyay
dwa - dway
dyo - dyoy
dwo-dwoy

Why doesn't "vu" follow this pattern? It should be "vo" for singular you so that you can just add "y" to make it a plural or "vuy" for the plural form of you.

Also, is there a was to distinguish between Inclusive/Exclusive "we" and Inclusive/Exclusive "you all"?

Hi Rebecca,

Thank-you for that detailed response. The use of the passive prefix “ge-” differs from construct detailed in the grammar document I downloaded from you site last year ( and is dated May 2005 ) so a will wait until the latest version of the grammar appears on the site until considering this further. However, it good to see that you are taking such issues seriously and are willing to modify the language accordingly.
